About the artist
Mark Brown was born in North Carolina and studied painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. As an artist, Mark has been able to travel a great deal and has lived in Italy, Mexico, and various cities around the US. Mark is a prolific landscape painted but also makes a great deal of figurative work, often drawing on site specific history for his surreal portraiture.
